ScrubShareScrubShare collects no data. None.
ScrubShare removes hidden metadata from your photos and documents. All processing happens entirely on your device. The app contains no networking code of its own: no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no cloud, no third-party SDKs.
What we collect
Nothing. Your files, your metadata, and anything derived from them never leave your device. We have no servers, and nothing is transmitted to us — we could not see your data even if we wanted to.
Network activity you may observe
Two Apple system services can make network requests when you explicitly use them:
- Map preview (optional): if you tap "preview on a map" on the inspect screen, Apple Maps loads map tiles for that location. This request goes to Apple, not to us, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. The map never loads unless you tap it.
- Purchases: the ScrubShare Pro subscription is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
This website
This site is static HTML with no analytics, no cookies, no trackers and no third-party scripts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; like any web host, GitHub may log technical request data such as IP addresses, under GitHub's privacy statement. We don't receive or use those logs.
Data retention and deletion
There is nothing to retain and nothing to delete — no account to close and no data to request. Cleaned copies of your files exist only where you choose to save or share them.
Children's privacy
ScrubShare collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the change will be visible on this page and in the app's version history. Since the app cannot collect data by construction, meaningful changes are unlikely.
